Quick Glance: 300 Migrants Missing near Spanish Canary Islands
- At least 300 people traveling on three migrant boats from Senegal to Spain's Canary Islands have disappeared, according to migrant aid group Walking Borders.
- Two boats carrying approximately 65 and 50 to 60 people respectively have been missing for 15 days since they left Senegal to reach Spain, says Helena Maleno of Walking Borders.
- A third boat with about 200 people on board left Senegal on June 27.
- The families of those on board have not heard from them since they left, says Maleno.
