- December 7 (Reuters) - Elon Musk's Neuralink, which Reuters said on Monday is the subject of a federal inquiry into its animal testing program, has been working on developing a brain implant that would allow the paraplegic to walk and the blind to see.
- Neuralink, founded in 2016 by Musk and a group of engineers, is developing a brain chip interface that can be implanted within the skull, allowing crippled patients to move and communicate again, as well as restore vision.
- Musk stated last week that he believes Neuralink will be able to begin human clinical trials within six months.
