Quick Glance: The Night Manager Returns for Two More Seasons with Tom Hiddleston
  • When the Tom Hiddleston-starring miniseries adaptation of John Le Carré’s espionage novel hit screens in early 2016, it quickly became a huge mainstream hit, thrilling viewers with its twists and enhancing Hiddleston’s cool factor.

  • After years of speculation, The Night Manager is now confirmed to return, with the show set for at least two more seasons, with Tom Hiddleston reprising his role as Jonathan Pine.

  • Season 2 is scheduled to film later this year, set eight years after the events of the first series, with Stephen Garrett returning as showrunner and screenwriter David Farr back on script duties.

  • The new seasons will be available on the BBC in the UK and Amazon as a global partner, with Le Carré’s sons, Simon and Stephen Cornwell, supporting the decision to expand Pine's story and looking forward to where the narrative will lead next.
