Quick Glance: Seahawks' Linebacker Escapes Critical Penalty in Interception vs. Raiders in Week 12
- The Raiders and Seahawks battled it out on Sunday, with Las Vegas securing a 40-34 overtime victory.
- Just five seconds into the first quarter, Raiders quarterback Derek Carr was intercepted by Quandre Diggs, who returned the ball 24 yards to Las Vegas' 12-yard line, setting up an immediate scoring drive for the visitors.
- Unbeknownst to the referees, Diggs received assistance from a literal 12th man, as linebacker Darrell Taylor ran onto the field from the sidelines and started blocking during the return.
- Once Diggs made the interception, however, Taylor sprinted onto the field and moved with the rest of the defense into Raiders territory, briefly joining cornerback Tariq Woolen in blocking Las Vegas wideout Mack Hollins.
